How do I download videos?

There are two kinds of videos: Events and Moments 

🚀  Events:
Videos that are automatically generated when Motion Detection is triggered.

🚀  Moments:
Videos that are manually recorded from Live or manually saved (shared) Events.

🚀  Continuous Recording Footage:

An 8-hour recording loop video from the Continuous Recording.

⚠️ Note: The Alfred app does not support downloading the full loop of video at the moment. However, you can download the Event videos that were recorded from Motion Detection during the Continuous Recording session. 

In this article, you will learn how to download Events and Moments to your local storage: 

• Download Events from device
• Download Events from WebViewer
• Download Moments from device 
• Download Moments from WebViewer 
• Save Events to Moments on device

Download Events from device

1. Select an Event Group from a specific date
   
2. Long press on the videos you'd like to download
   (iOS devices: Tap "Select" in the top right corner)
   
   
3. Tap on the download icon in the top right to download a video
   (iOS devices: Tap the download icon in the bottom left)
   
   
4. Check Gallery, Google Photo, Media Library, or Photos app on your device to find the video.

⚠️ Note: Free users are only allowed to download one Event video at a time, while Premium users can download up to 10 Event videos.

Download Events from WebViewer

1. Choose a Camera device from your camera list page 
2. Click on the Event Book icon:
   
3. Select an Event Group from a specific date
   
4. Select the Event video you want to download
5. Right-click on the video, and click Save Video as…
   
   

⚠️ Note: The iOS Alfred app can’t download videos recorded by Alfred WebCamera. You can only download videos via Alfred WebViewer.

Download Moments from device

1. Tap the "More" tab
   
   
2. Tap "Moments"
   
3.  Long press on the Moment video you want to save
   (iOS devices: Tap "Select" in the top right corner)
   
4. . Tap the download icon in the top right corner of the app
   (iOS devices: Tap the download icon in the bottom corner)
   
5. Check Gallery, Google Photo, Media Library, or Photos app on your device to find the video

Download Moments from WebViewer

1. Click "Moments"
   
2. Select the video you want to download
3. Right-click on the video, and click Save Video as…
   

Save Event videos to Moments on device

1. Tap the Event Book icon
   
2. Select an Event Group from a specific date
   
3. Tap the Event video you'd like to share
   
   
4. Tap the three-dot icon
   
5. Tap "Save to Moments"
