Power-Saving Mode is a feature on the Camera device that dims the screen to save power. Since the Alfred app must remain open in order to function properly, this feature will help you better conserve the battery life. Instead of pressing the home or power button on your device, you can secure it with App Lock and save battery with Power-Saving Mode.

⚠️ Note: The Alfred app is required to be updated to at least version 2021.11.0 on both Camera and Viewer devices for the Power-Saving Mode feature to be available.
Turn on Power-Saving Mode right away
On the Camera device, tap the "power" icon in the bottom right corner of the screen
When Power-Saving Mode has been turned on, the screen will turn dark. If you want to end Power-Saving Mode on your Camera device, please:
- Drag the lock icon from left to right(Android)
- Press on the lock icon (iOS)
Disable Auto Power-Saving Mode
Auto Power-Saving Mode is enabled by default. This feature will automatically turn on Power-Saving Mode after three minutes of inactivity. To disable Auto Power-Saving Mode, please:
From Your Viewer Device
- Tap the wheel icon on a camera's thumbnail
- Switch off the "Auto Power-Saving Mode" toggle
From Your Camera Device
- Tap on the Settings icon in the bottom left corner
- Switch off the "Auto Power-Saving Mode" toggle
To re-enable Auto Power-Saving Mode, switch on the toggle on the Viewer/Camera device.
