We understand that WebViewer is an essential tool for our users to keep an eye on what matters most from their computers. To provide a more seamless and powerful monitoring experience, we have enhanced several core features and are thrilled to introduce the all-new WebViewer 2.0. This update brings you better performance, more control, and a modern interface for your home security.
What's New in WebViewer 2.0
The most significant upgrade in WebViewer 2.0 is the introduction of Timeline Playback. Previously, WebViewer users could only view Event videos, while Continuous Recording (Playback) was restricted to mobile devices.
With WebViewer 2.0, you can now access every moment of your Continuous Recording directly from your browser. The Timeline Playback also features motion & audio intensity waveforms, allowing you to identify important events at a glance without scrolling through hours of footage.
⚠️ The actual duration of the video available for Playback depends on the recording storage limit of your specific subscription plan.
Additionally, the new Multi-Camera Layouts allow you to monitor multiple camera feeds simultaneously in a single window, eliminating the need to open multiple browser tabs.

Can I zoom in on a camera view?
Can I still use 1.0?
No. WebViewer 1.0 has been fully retired and is no longer available or maintained. All monitoring is now handled by WebViewer 2.0, which provides a more powerful and modern experience with Timeline Playback, multi-camera layouts, and additional features.
Does my mobile subscription work on the web?
Yes. Premium status is tied to your AlfredCamera account and unlocks automatically upon signing in.
Why do I see an empty dashboard after sign-in?
Please wait a few seconds for camera statuses to sync. If the dashboard remains empty, please verify that your cameras are properly set up and online in the AlfredCamera mobile app.
What does "Camera is occupied by another Viewer" mean?
Free accounts allow only 1 concurrent Viewer per camera; Premium accounts allow up to 3. Please stop viewing on another device or consider upgrading to Premium.
Why is the Timeline empty?
Timeline requires a Premium subscription and Continuous Recording to be enabled on the camera. If you have already subscribed and enabled this feature, please wait a few minutes after the first activation for the initial video segments to upload.
What to do if I forgot my password?
Password reset is not yet available directly on the web. Please use the "Forgot Password" link in the AlfredCamera mobile app to reset it.
What does "Unsupported browser" mean?
For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome. Please note that mobile phones and small tablets are not supported for WebViewer 2.0.
Why are some features missing in WebViewer 2.0?
The web service and the mobile app are not identical, and certain features remain exclusive to the mobile app. If you have any feedback or suggestions for WebViewer 2.0, please use the "Send Feedback" option in Account Settings, or submit your thoughts directly at https://form.typeform.com/to/hcy8IImy.
How do I record a clip manually? (Premium)
In Single-View (1-camera layout), Premium subscribers can tap the record button in the live controls bar to save a manual clip. Recordings must be at least 5 seconds long and stop automatically at 30 seconds. When the clip finishes, a persistent notification offers Play — the clip is saved as an event and can be opened over any page.
Note: Manual recording is not available on web cameras. On a shared camera, manual recording only works if the camera's owner is on a Premium plan.
Can I zoom in on a camera view? (Premium)
Yes, in Single-View on Premium plans. Double-click anywhere on the live video to zoom in 2× at that spot, and double-click again to zoom out. Zoom is automatically reset when you switch cameras, change layout, or the camera rotates.
