As we continually strive to enhance our platform and ensure the highest standards of quality and innovation, we sometimes face the need to make difficult decisions. Today, we’re announcing an important update to the WebCamera service. This change is designed to enhance overall stability, improve reliability, and provide you with the best possible user experience.
What’s Changing?
Starting February 5, 2025, we will be discontinuing the Detection and Recording features to improve overall service stability.
- Notifications for Events from WebCamera will no longer be sent.
- Event recordings from WebCamera will no longer be available.
However, you will still have access to Live, allowing you to continue monitoring in real-time as usual. We believe these adjustments will contribute to a more stable and efficient WebCamera service moving forward.
Please note, that these adjustments only apply to WebCamera. Other camera devices, such as the Mobile Camera and AlfredCam, will remain unaffected and fully functional.

Why is this happening?
Our priority is always to provide you with the best experience. By discontinuing these features on WebCamera, we aim to improve system performance, leading to a smoother and more reliable product.
What should you do?
No immediate action is needed. However, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team through the in-app "Contact Us" channel.
Additionally, you can continue to enjoy Detection and Recording features by using the AlfredCamera App to turn your mobile device into a camera. This will also provide you with enhanced Sound Detection, Activity Detection, and Continuous Recording for a more complete surveillance experience.
