Alfred's approach to live view resolution might seem a bit counterintuitive at first, but there's a good reason behind it. When you enter the Live view, you might notice that the resolution defaults to Standard, even after upgrading to Premium. This default behavior is designed to ensure a consistently smooth experience every time you access the Live feed.
The good news is that you have the flexibility to manually adjust the resolution while viewing the Live feed. If you're eager to enjoy your video in higher quality, you can easily switch to HD resolution during your Live session. This option empowers you to prioritize video quality over potential initial loading smoothness.
For Premium users, rest assured that all Activity Detection Events are recorded in HD resolution by default. This means that even if your Live view starts in Standard resolution, any noteworthy events captured by Activity Detection will be recorded and saved in HD quality.
