Important Update: Changes to WebCamera Features
Starting February 5, 2025, the Detection and Recording features of WebCamera will be discontinued as part of an update aimed at improving service stability.

Our mission is to make home security simple and accessible to everyone. All you need are two devices—a Viewer and a Camera device—to set up your home security system. In this article you'll find out how to use your PC as a Camera device. If you want to use your PC as a Viewer device, please refer to this article.
- Go to https://alfred.webcam on Google Chrome (Chrome version must be newer than version 79)
- Sign in with your account
- Turn on the camera
- Grant Alfred access to your camera and microphone
- You must grant Alfred access to your camera in order to use WebCamera. If you blocked Alfred from accessing your camera or microphone, you may click on the camera icon next to the URL to reset your setting. For more detailed instructions, please refer to this troubleshooting article.
If you see the same PC showing up as multiple Camera devices on your Viewer device, please visit this troubleshooting page to find out why and how to eliminate the problem.
⚠️Note:
- Please make sure you have the up-to-date app version on your Viewer devices before starting to use WebCamera.
- Events recorded by WebCamera cannot support audio playback in operating system versions below iOS 17.
