- Can the Camera side use Picture in Picture?
- Will there be audio in Picture in Picture?

Why can't I see Picture in Picture?
This could be due to one of the following reasons:
- You are not a Premium subscriber (Picture in Picture is a Premium-exclusive feature)
- AlfredCamera has not been updated to version 2026.12.0 or later
- Your device's OS version is not supported (iOS 14.0 or later and Android 8.0 or later are required)
- AlfredCamera's "Picture in Picture" permission has been turned off in your device's system settings
- You are not currently on the Live View screen (Picture in Picture only activates when you leave the app from a Live View)
Does Picture in Picture sync across my devices?
No. Picture in Picture can be configured independently on each device. Whether it works depends on that device's OS version and system permissions, and is not synced to your account. Each device maintains its own Picture in Picture setting, even when signed in with the same account.
Can the Camera side use Picture in Picture?
No. Picture in Picture is a Viewer-side exclusive feature. The Camera side's core role is to provide a stable live stream, and does not support Picture in Picture.
Will there be audio in Picture in Picture?
The audio state in the floating window follows the setting you had before entering Picture in Picture. Actual audio behavior may vary depending on your device's system permissions.
What happens if the connection drops during Picture in Picture?
If the connection drops during Picture in Picture, the floating window will freeze on the last frame and you'll receive a system notification about the current status. If it's a network disconnection, playback will resume automatically once the connection is restored. For other types of disconnections, tap the floating window or the notification to return to AlfredCamera and re-enter the Live View to check the status.
