We hope this message finds you well. At AlfredCamera, we continuously strive to improve our services to offer you the best experience. However, to keep offering more tailored services to our diverse user base, sometimes we need to make difficult decisions, which will unfortunately affect how you use some of our key features.
What’s Changing?
We are excited to announce that we are planning to introduce a new and improved version of our Moment feature. Once you’ve updated your app to the supported version, you can now find both your manually and automatically recorded videos saved in one place. Easily save your new Moments to the Event Book, and effortlessly find them all well-organized with the “Moment” filter type.
As part of this upgrade, we will be deprecating the current version of Moment, and the enhanced version of Moment will be made exclusive to our Premium subscribers. This decision is made to ensure we can deliver a more efficient and user-friendly experience, showing our commitment to continuously improving and refining it to serve your needs better.
⚠️ Note: WebCamera does not support the enhanced Moment feature. However, you can still use the enhanced Moment feature when using WebViewer with the AlfredCamera app or AlfredCam.
What does this mean to you?
Starting September 1st, 2024, all previously saved Moments will be permanently removed from our cloud service and will no longer be retrievable. We understand this change may be significant, and we want to ensure you have ample time to manage your stored Moments.
Next Steps
To retain any important videos, we encourage you to download all of the precious Moments from the AlfredCamera app before September 1st, 2024.
By following the steps below, you can save your Moments to the built-in Album app:
- Go to the More tab in your AlfredCamera app
- Tap Moments and select the footage you wish to preserve
- Tap Download
