Since you can add as many Camera/Viewer devices to your account as you want, we aim to provide a clear way to help you manage your devices.
Camera Tab
On the Camera tab, you can find all the Cameras connected to your account.

Add a Camera
To add a new Camera to your Alfred account, please
- Tap on the Add a Camera button
- Choose between the type of device you wish to add as the Camera
- Follow the steps to finish the pairing process
You can also simply log in with the same account across devices. Once Alfred detects a new device being added as a Camera, it will automatically show up on your camera list.
Delete a Camera

Tap on the Camera Settings icon of the Camera you wish to delete

Scroll down and tap Delete Camera
⚠️ Note: We recommend saving your important videos before deleting your Camera device.
Rename a Camera
- Tap on the Camera Settings icon of the Camera you wish to rename
- Tap Camera Name
- Type in your new camera name and hit Save

How do I switch between Viewer and Camera?
Tap the drop-down menu on the upper navigation bar, and choose between Viewer and Camera.
⚠️ Note: When switching from Camera to Viewer mode, a re-login is necessary. This step ensures the highest level of privacy and security for your AlfredCamera account details. By requiring this re-login, we uphold our commitment to safeguarding your personal information and maintaining a secure environment for your monitoring needs.
Why can't I see my device on the list after switching it from Camera to Viewer?
For AlfredCamera to function seamlessly, it is essential to have a minimum of two devices configured within the system—one acting as the Viewer and the other as the Camera. Should you decide to switch your device's role from a Camera to a Viewer, please be aware that this particular device will no longer display its own recordings in the list. To ensure uninterrupted access to your footage and live feeds, we recommend using an additional device set up as a Viewer. This setup enables you to keep an eye on your space with ease and reliability, ensuring that you never miss a moment.
Can I retrieve the videos after deleting the Camera?
If you accidentally remove a Camera from your camera settings, there's no need to worry. You can swiftly reconnect the Camera by logging it back into your account, which will restore its visibility in your camera list.
However, it's important to note a critical distinction: if the AlfredCamera app is deleted from the Camera device itself, any footage stored locally on that device will be permanently deleted. Unfortunately, once this occurs, those videos cannot be recovered.
