What is Sound Detection
?
Sound Detection represents a significant advancement in AlfredCamera's sound technology. This intuitive tool allows you to define recording trigger criteria and push notifications based on your preferred sound range, catering to various sound monitoring needs.
How do I set up Sound Detection?
To enable Sound Detection, please
- Tap the camera's settings wheel
- Turn on the Sound Detection toggle
- Tap Detection Range
- Set up the sound range you wish to be detected
How can I receive Sound Detection alert?
To enable Sound Alert, please
- Tap the camera's settings wheel.
- Under [Notifications], toggle the switch to turn Event Alert on or off.
- Tap [Alert] under [Sound Detection]
- Turn the Sound Alert on or off

What are the system requirements?
- AlfredCamera app version: 2024.10.0 and above
- AlfredCam firmware version: 1.10.0 and above
⚠️ Note: WebCamera does not support the Sound Detection feature.
Where do I check the Events?
To view the Events recorded by Sound Detection, please go to the camera list and tap on the Events icon.
By selecting the Event type you will be able to filter out the Sound Detection Events.
